Happy father's day Dad!

When I was young, I used to live with my dad. My parents were separated. Although my mom was missing me every day, I had a lot of fun with my father. We were playing like boys, we were going fishing and every Thursday he brought me shopping. That was awesome.

I remember my dad waking me up early on Saturday morning (like 4 am) telling me we were going on a road trip for the week-end. We were packing some snacks for the road and there we were an hour later in the U.S.A.

I have so many memories with my dad. He really enjoys making jokes, but not regular ones. Jokes that he is the only one laughing about. Like : I was in fourth grade. Every morning he prepared my lunch. But this morning,  there was nothing to eat at home. Instead of telling me to take a coupon to order a lunch at school, he did prepare my lunch....He put a lemon, a salt shaker and a plastic knife. What a perfect meal ! I opened my lunch box at lunch break and I saw these, I was flabbergasted. I didn't reserve a lunch at the cafeteria... what was I going to eat????  I opened a pocket and found a coupon for a lunch. Fortunalty, they manage to give me something to eat. My dad laughed this joke a lot, I didn't. Today, I think it is hilarious !!

My dad is a very special one. He is a very bizarre human being too. I love him. He works very hard every day. It is only been a year since he has now 2 days off per week. WOW! So for the father's day I wish him to take some time apart to relax, to enjoy life and to travel. Isn't a good thing ? Slow life folks !
